Work in Progress

Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.

Ben Franklin

Bear with me as I create my own WordPress page.

Everyone always wants to see your webpage to share your work, to share some information, to see what you’re all about. Well, I never had my own webpage worth sharing.

I can share my Facebook but, while this will sound very contradictory with over 4,000 Facebook friends, I don’t want to be sharing my own Facebook page with everyone I don’t know. I think we also only show our best side on Facebook to compete with our other friends (even if we don’t admit it).

I can share my Twitter but there are just some tweets that would call for a 🤦‍♂️ emoji. (Like pointing out some useless fact about a movie that came out 20 years ago). There are other tweets that are solely about theater and sports and unless you’re already following me, it’s not interesting.

I can share my Instagram page, which is always a work in progress, but even with pictures saying a thousand words, they can be lost in translation and deserve some context.

I can share my LinkedIn (which I just did), which is even more up and coming, but that may only be showing some interesting articles or cool things I’ve done in the past. If you didn’t click on my LinkedIn page and connect with me, just go back to the beginning of the paragraph.

A website allows you to showcase what you want to showcase however you want to showcase it without ridicule.

This will be a work in progress – just like life. There will be changes. There will be updates. There will be growth.

Come grow with me.
