Alison’s Avengers: Help Save A Life And Donate

For over a year and a half, my cousin Alison fought leukemia. She put up a helluva fight, giving it everything she had and then some.

Unfortunately, the horrible blood disease, which affects thousands of people each year, ended up taking her life in September of 2019.

The last two times the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society had their “Light The Night” walks in the Philly area, we did it for Alison – once in her honor as she fought (and we ultimately had her for almost another year) and once in her memory. Each time we raised THOUSANDS of dollars.

Tomorrow, Friday February 14th, we’re donating blood in honor and memory of Alison. We’re donating blood because one donation of blood can make a difference. One donation can save a life. One donation can be life-changing.

Philly’s local ABC station, 6ABC (WPVI) will be doing a story on the donation as well. (updated: click here for the story by Ali Gorman)

Place: Warwick Elementary School Gym in Jamison, PA.

Time: 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Signup at www.redcrossblood.org and enter: alisonsavengers

You can also walk in and donate. If you can’t donate, share this with someone who can.
