A cool Easter egg feature to help celebrate Instagram’s 10th birthday is allowing users to change the icon on their cell phone’s home screen to any previous iteration of Instagram’s logo or to something not-yet-seen before.
It’s pretty remarkable how much it has changed but when iOS flattened a lot of their icons several years back, Instagram had to keep up. You might call these icons throwbacks / classics / vintage, etc., but we know it’s okay to bring back the OG’s, like the famous Polaroids.
