Hindsight is 20/20.
We say this all the time in regards to how certain situations could have been different after the fact.
Everyone looked towards 2020 as a new beginning – with jokes about the show 20/20 with Barbara Walters, having clear vision, and so on.
But 2020 was anything but normal, with bad things happening by the day. As the days and months progressed, things just kept getting worse and worse, and some days felt like months, and some months felt like years. We lost jobs, money, homes, friends, family, and time spent with loved ones.
My 2020 was no different. Many highs and lows, but I know I’m becoming a better person because of everything that happened, for better or for worse. I learned to cook, workout without anyone pushing me, and be part of a program to start my own business, which definitely hasn’t been easy.
With age comes wisdom.
We learn from events that have happened in our lives or we may have witnessed – for good and for bad.
In upcoming years , we will certainly incur more trials and tribulations. But I hope we can look back with some hindsight that whatever is happening in that current moment, wasn’t as bad as what 2020 offered.
I, and I hope you all too, will walk into 2021 with a new perspective on life.
