The world was shocked to hear that Bob Saget, 65, passed away on January 9th after being found in his hotel room in Orlando, Fl.

The results of the autopsy and the toxicology report came back clean – but it’s being reported he died by head trauma.

The Full House (and later Fuller House) star had literally just got back on the road doing comedy shows – even doing a show the night before in Jacksonville, Fl.

A Statement via TMZ (and the Saget family)

“Now that we have the final conclusions from the authorities’ investigation, we felt it only proper that the fans hear those conclusions directly from us. The authorities have determined that Bob passed away from head trauma. They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved.”

“As we continue to mourn together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all: to be kind to everyone, to let the people you love know you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter.”

America’s Funniest Home Videos (AFV) has been honoring him every Sunday with a different segment every week of some of his funniest moments on the show.

Growing up with Danny Tanner and then America’s Funniest Home Videos, Gen X and Millennials were all shocked to hear Bob’s true (and vulgar) comedy chops in Half Baked and then The Aristocrats and Jamie Kennedy’s song and music video, Rollin’ With Saget.

As a fellow Philadelphian and Temple University alum, I’ve had a newfound respect and admiration for who Bob was and what he stood for.

But the one thing is true: in life and now death, no one has had a bad thing to say about him.

RIP Bob.
